Ooo, can you post your green bean, cabbage, and beef recipe? And the beef and veggie one, too? They all look delicious.

Robin: I don't follow recipes when I make these and many of the dishes contain fish sauce. It's flavorful and not really noticeable in small quantity, but still not something many people can cook with. The beef and veggie doesn't have any though so I'll run through it briefly. Beef (better if it has a bit of fat) is marinated in chopped onion, garlic powder, chili flake( I like it spicy), salt and pepper. I let it sits while I chop up the veggie (various bell pepper, celery, and lots of mushroom). Heat some oil, brown some chopped onion until fragrance, then toss in the beef and stir until it's slightly browned. Throw in the mushroom and cook until it soften a bit and add the rest of the veggie. The mushroom will release a ton of juice so you'll end up cooking the rest of the veggie in a combo of mushroom juice with a hint of (or a lot) of beef fat. I cheat at this point and put in a spoonful (depend on how salty you want it) of chicken bouillon instead of salt to give it some more flavor. Let it simmer a bit until the veggie is slightly soften and toss on a handful of chopped green onion and sprinkle with pepper. Quick and easy and no other spices needed.
