For the financial voyeurs out there I was comparing year to year returns and thought this looks interesting.
2012 - Salary was 34k at the time and contribution was about 10%. I bought my house around July, so it was a stretch to save this much. For all that effort, the return was pathetic.
2013 - Getting a little better
2014 - Ouch
2015 - OMG WTF.....
2016 - Recovery, whewww!
2017 - So far so good
And that's that. Nothing really exciting, but the final numbers are nice to look at.

Ceejay - This is something available in T-Rowe Price. Under Transactions -> Account Activity -> click on Show Filter to customize the date. Unfortunately, Vanguard doesn't have this feature. I'm not sure about other 401k providers.
